I was standing at the bus stop waiting for Nicole to get off her bus.

*Nicole steps off her bus*
Nicole: Oh! Hey Grace!
Me: Hi Nikki!
Nicole: What will we do about the whole Cam situation.
Me: I don’t know. I felt really mad after she ditched us, I still do. I suppose it was her decision if she doesn’t want us to hang out with her.
Nicole: Yeah…but what about you? I mean, what if I’m sick from school one day, who will you hang out with at lunch?
Me: Are you saying I don’t have anymore friends?
Nicole: You know I didn’t mean it like that…just…I don’t know anymore…
Me: I am really confused…
Nicole: Yeah…I’m with you there!

A few minutes later Cam steps out of her brand new car and gives a tip to her driver. Then gets out of the car.

Cam: Oh and Jenkins! Remember, I need you to pick me and Sarah up after school at the usual time to bring us into town. We’re getting facials so be there on time so we make our appointment.

Both Nicole and I are shocked.

Nicole: Did she just say she was hanging out with Sarah?
Me: I think so…
Nicole: Are you serious…
Me: O-M-G! They’re best friends! Like total, Bffl’s! What will I do? O-M-G! O-M-G!
Nicole: Calm down! I think I know what we can do…
Me: What? …To get her back?
Nicole: I was thinking more on the lines of getting revenge.
Me: Oh…uh…how?
Nicole: You still have that trick book?
Me: From my prankster days? Yup! Why?
Nicole: Just meet me after school in the park and bring the book with you.
Me: Uh ok.

Nicole and I run to our classes and arranged to meet after school.
