Cityside Part 8

I walked out the driveway,missing the usual sound of squishy grass,turning left towards the school. The day was cold so I pulled my hood up and put a multicolored scarf on. I stuck my hands in my pockets and kept walking. I was about 5mins away from the school when i saw a shop. Outside there was stalls full of delicious looking fruit. I dug in my pockets trying to find some money. I heard some jingling and pulled my hand out. There was 3pounds there. I sighed and began to walk away when the shopkeeper caught me. 'Its okay lil` girl. Take a tasty apple. For free. My treat fo` ya.' he smiled. I smiled and took a red apple. 'Thanks!' I skipped away down the street biting then and again on the apple.

After 5mins I saw the school. It looked...average. It was wide and grey with around three storeys. A big sign was outside of it saying 'St.Josephs High School For Girls And Boys'. As i was about to enter a bald man in a suit walked up to me. 'You must be Olivia Jayne,Yes?New Girl?' he said in a deep voice. I nodded. 'Welcome,Olivia! My name is Mr.Jenks and I'm the principal here. Let me give you a tour.'

He walked me around the school showing me everywhere. The school was quite big. We came to a stop outside a group of canary coloured lockers. 'Your locker number is 568.'' he passed me apiece of paper. 'Your combination number is there also.' If you need any help just ask a pupil. I'm sure they'll help' He smiled a welcoming smile and strolled away. I looked for my locker and found it quickly. I put in my books and began to walk towards my English class. As I walked down the corridor,everyone was looking at me. What was wrong with me?Was my hair a mess?Did I look stupid?I was considering going into the bathroom and checking but then it hit me. Litterly.It Hit Me.
